We will be working on a self portrait in which we combine our image with that of a civil rights leader to whom we can look up. Your homework is posted and due as soon as possible. Bring in an image of a civil rights leader, if you do not have a printer, email/upload the image, and we will print it in class. You will be creating a frame for your image using kente cloth color designs, as well, if time allows.
These will be displayed in a small art exhibition as part of our Black History Month Program! Find an image of a civil rights leader you like and print it out. It needs to be at least 4" x 6" in size.

As Ms. Embry was out of class at the beginning of this week, our bellwork will be WHATCHAMADRAWITS done in class. Keeping up with this page will also be your homework.
